Messier-Bugatti-Tracer and CanJet Expand 737 Wheel & Brake MRO
03/17/05
Milwaukee, WI. 17 March 2005—Messier-Bugatti-Tracer
(www.messier-bugatti-tracer.com) is extending its wheel and brake repair and overhaul contract with CanJet Airlines to include the carrier’s new 737-500 fleet. MBT, a joint venture of Messier-Bugatti and Tracer Repair & Overhaul, will provide wheel and brake support for CanJet’s entire 737 fleet.
Brian Pike, Manager of Purchasing & Stores for CanJet said "Messier Bugatti Tracer has been providing CanJet with comprehensive wheel and brake support on our 737-200 fleet for the past two years. When we announced that we were adding new 737-500s, we realized we needed a partner that could keep pace with our growth. MBT worked hard to provide us with the flexibility we needed to meet our expansion goals while remaining cost competitive.”
“MBT works hard to make wheel and brake repair and overhaul a ‘non-event’, invisible, a process that just happens like clockwork for our customers.” Paul Severin, MBT’s Chief Sales & Marketing Officer, said “We’re very pleased to help support CanJet’s growth.”
