Messier-Bugatti-Tracer and Air Wisconsin Airlines Wheel MRO Deal Signals New Regional Airline Market Focus
12/15/03

MILWAUKEE, WI. (December 15, 2003) - Messier-Bugatti-Tracer (www.messier-bugatti-tracer.com/) has announced a new three-year contract to provide wheel services for Air Wisconsin Airlines Corporation (AWAC). Messier-Bugatti-Tracer (MBT), a joint venture of Messier-Bugatti and Tracer Repair & Overhaul, will support AWAC’s fleet of 17 BAe-146 jets and 60 Canadair regional jets.

“Our regional airline wheel and brake business is growing fast,” said MBT Executive Vice President Jim Gomez. “We work hard to develop simple, straight-forward wheel and brake repair and overhaul solutions for our customers and then go the extra mile supporting them. Air Wisconsin is a clear market leader and we’re very pleased to be a part of their team.”

“Turn-time, logistics and cost are all key factors for us,” said Daniel Boggs, Air Wisconsin’s Managing Director of Maintenance. “MBT’s creativity and responsiveness makes a difference.”
